A Patient Story
I had a fall in December of 2017 causing serious pain in my right shoulder and neck. Doctors told me it was a sprain but I suspected more. Then, in 2018, I tore my right bicep tendon, leaving my right arm nearly useless. The first surgeon I saw mentioned only the detachment of the bicep tendon, even after I explained the pain had been present in my shoulder blade for months before. His opinion was it was not repairable.
Two years later, the pain and loss of mobility made me seek another opinion. My step-father recommended I see Dr. Mileti at Orthopedic ONE. I was able to get an appointment, MRI’s, and x-rays within a week. My first visit was December 2, 2020, and on January 13, 2021, Dr. Mileti performed reconstructive surgery. Immediately, my scapula felt better, and my neck pain was gone. Now, 3 1/2 months later, I feel better than I have in years. I still have a ways to go before full recovery, but my strength is returning very quickly, and my pain is nearly gone.
Dr. Mileti was willing to listen and take the time to realize I indeed had an injury. I cannot express enough the confidence I have in him and the entire staff at Orthopedic ONE. Thank You All!
