Roughly 15 years ago I was experiencing persistent pain around my sesamoid bone in my right foot. It hurt when I walked or hiked, two of my great pleasures.  My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Scott Van Aman at Orthopedic One. Dr. Van Aman examined me carefully and took X-rays which showed there were no broken bones. He referred me to an in-house Orthopedic ONE specialist in building custom orthotics.

The custom orthotics ended my pain and allowed my wife and me to pursue our goal of exploring all 63 US National Parks in 28 states and two territories. America’s national parks are mostly located in remote areas and require hiking over rocks and tree roots. Orthopedic ONE’s orthotics have taken us above the Arctic Circle and below the Equator and from Alaska to the US Virgin Islands. The professional care at Orthopedic ONE has literally changed our lives by enabling us to hike pain-free. The practice has also been there to adjust orthotics when needed.

Our next active trip will take us to the D-Day beaches in Normandy and museums and gardens of Paris for our wedding anniversary. We will be doing a great deal of walking and standing. Thank you for the good care and look for a post card!
