When I broke my hip several years ago, my surgeon at the time used two pins and a screw to repair the fracture. I mended well for the first year, but then started to decline. The pain got to the point where I could hardly walk. Finally, I made the decision to go to Orthopedic ONE. It was there that Dr. Vivek Sahai told me I needed a hip replacement. Within hours of my surgery I was up and walking without pain in my hip joint, something I hadn’t experienced in years! My goal was to be able to get down on the floor to play with my grandson, as this was something I hadn’t been able to do without pain. Now six years later, I am pain free. I am able to go down steps the normal way, not one step at a time. Most importantly, I enjoy playing with legos, cars and board games on the floor with my grandson!
