Dr. Kenneth J. Westerheide specializes in sports medicine, with a unique expertise in shoulder arthroscopy and knee ACL reconstruction. He is also one of the few surgeons in central Ohio to perform hip arthroscopy.
Dr. Westerheide graduated fromThe Ohio State University Collegeof Medicine with AOA honors and participated in The University of Pittsburgh Orthopaedic Residency program. He then was selected to participate in a fellowship in shoulder arthroscopy and sports medicine at The Southern California Orthopaedic Institute in Los Angeles, California. Through this training, he has received numerous awards and recognition. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Active in the orthopedic community, Dr. Westerheide is a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Columbus Orthopaedic Society, Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Medical Association. He has written and contributed to many articles for publication and presentations on topics including shoulder arthroscopy, knee ACL reconstruction and recently hip arthroscopy.

Domonique is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with my family and friends most of all, but has always been passionate about physical and mental health. She also enjoys being active through various forms, especially being outdoors. I love traveling, country concerts, and spending time by the water.
How Do You Typically Interact with Patients?
I clinically perform injections, see patients for post-op visits, and continuous conservative management of chronic conditions. I also assist Dr. Westerheide in the operating room. I genuinely enjoy every visit and find joy in getting to know each one of our patients on a personal level.

Gretchen is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery
She assist Dr. Westerheide by administering injections, postoperative visits, and follow up-visits. She also assist Dr. Westerheide in the operating room.
In her free time she enjoys being active, traveling, serving at church, and spending time with my fiancé Evan, Golden Retriever Maverick, and friends and family.
How Do You Typically Interact with Patients?
I see patients in the office for injections, postoperative visits, and follow up-visits. I also assist Dr. Westerheide in the operating room. I enjoy helping patients return to activities they love and forming connections with them in the process.
