Dr. Scott Van Steyn is a board certified, fellowship-trained, Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon. He has an interest in sports injuries and fracture care. With numerous honors from Duke University, he began his medical education to work in Sports Medicine as a physician.
Dr. Van Steyn currently serves as head team physician to the Columbus Crew. He has covered numerous sports championships during his career, both from the high school to professional level, in football, soccer, skiing, and track and field. He also provided athletic care at the 1996 Olympic Games.
Dr. Van Steyn is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship trained expertise in Sports Medicine and has an interest in sports injuries and fracture care. With numerous honors from Duke University, he began his medical education to work in Sports Medicine as a physician.
He currently serves as Chief, Department of Surgery at Riverside Hospital and Co-Director of Ortho Trauma at Riverside Hospital.
