Jared Guth, M.D. is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine along with a subspecialty certificate in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He has a special interest in the use of biomechanics to prevent and treat common sports injuries, especially injuries to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
Dr. Guth received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH, and went on to earn a Master’s in Human Anatomy from The Ohio State University and medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Guth’s post-graduate training includes Orthopedic Residency at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, where he served as Team Physician to a number of area high schools. He went on to complete his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Washington University Orthopedics in St. Louis, where he served as a member of the Sports Medicine team to the NHL’s St. Louis Blues.

A central Ohio native, Dr. Guth believes using his skills as a surgeon is the best way he can serve the Delaware community, including serving as a Team Physician to Buckeye Valley Local Schools and Ohio Wesleyan University. He is passionate about caring for athletes at all levels, and of all ages.
