Evan Berlin, M.D., is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician with fellowship-training in Interventional Spine & Musculoskeletal Medicine. He specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical care of spine, joint and soft tissue disorders. He works collaboratively with our team of Orthopedic Surgeons to treat patients with disabling conditions using minimally invasive procedures, including spine injections and nerve blocks. He has special interest in basivertebral nerve ablation which is a treatment for chronic low back pain.

Dr. Berlin earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency, where he served as Chief Resident, with a distinction in biomedical ethics, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He went on to complete a North American Spine Society Interventional Spine & Musculoskeletal Fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, before moving back to his home state of Ohio to begin practice with Orthopedic ONE.

Dr. Berlin is also an active member in several professional societies including the North American Spine Society, Interventional Spine Society, Association of Academic Physiatrists, and
the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. In addition to his membership, he serves on a variety of committees dedicated to a range of interests including medical education, patient safety, and research.

He has authored and contributed to medical journals, texts and presentations on interventional medicine and spine topics and advancements. He has also won several awards, including Best Resident Research Award at the Spine Intervention Society annual meeting.
