Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program at Orthopedic One
It is the mission of the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program at Orthopedic One to provide an advanced quality education to our residents, while developing Board-Certified Clinical Specialists in Orthopedic physical therapy. The program commits to continuous improvement in helping the resident provide enhanced patient care by developing excellence in orthopedic clinical practice, implementing evidence-based practice, and effectively working in a collaborative care model that will help the residents become leaders in orthopedic practice for years to come.
Curriculum
Clinical Practice
- One on one mentoring 5 hours/week
- Non-mentored 35 hours/week
Didactic
- Weekly Learning Modules 1 hour/week’
- Journal Club 1 hour/month
- CSM 24 hours/year
- Physician shadowing/surgery observation
- Independent study

Application Process
Applications should be completed through the American Physical Therapy Association’s centralized application system (RF-PTCA). Top candidates will be interviewed at Orthopedic One November – January.
Admission Criteria:
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
- Licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Ohio
- Successful completion of on-line application
