We are Westerville Strong.
We are ONE of many grieving the loss of Officers Eric Joering and Anthony Morelli. We stand with the City of Westerville and our fellow community members in collective gratitude for all these two officers contributed to our great city.
As a show of support and encouragement to their wives, families and fellow officers, we are joining other healthcare organizations in and around Westerville for a No Co-Pay Friday.
An initiative led by Dr. Michael Murnane with Columbus Cardiology Care, No Co-Pay Friday will take place Friday, Feb. 16, across all of our ten central Ohio locations.
On this day, Feb. 16, we will match every patient co-pay dollar collected and donate that amount to the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 9 campaign dedicated to the officers and their families. We estimate our donation will be around $12,000.
Many of us at Orthopedic ONE live and work in the Westerville community. Several of us knew officers Joering and Morelli personally and it is our hope that this small gesture of support will offer encouragement to their families and friends.
We are only one of many community members and businesses to step up in support of the brave efforts of these two officers. We acknowledge there is never enough we can do to thank the men and women who risk their lives to keep us safe every day – and the families that support them.
We are saddened by this loss of life, but incredibly proud to be a part of this incredible Westerville community.
We are Westerville Strong.
