Orthopedic ONE expands Marketing Department
Orthopedic ONE is pleased to expand its marketing department to include a director of marketing and two marketing associates. The team will lead all marketing and communications on behalf of the entire practice. With 60 orthopedic physicians, 100-plus physical and occupational therapists and a team of more than 500 associates across ten locations, Orthopedic ONE is the largest physician-owned orthopedic practice in Ohio.
Marketing Director – Karly Elliott
Karly Elliott was named Orthopedic ONE’s Director of Marketing in June 2015. Karly has been with the practice since 2014 and previously held the role of Community and Sports Relations Manager, responsible for managing and developing Orthopedic ONE’s community outreach relationships, programs and activities.
Karly has worked in the central Ohio healthcare community since 2004. Her career began at New Albany Surgical Hospital (what is now Mount Carmel New Albany), where she served as the Administrative Projects Specialist to the CEO, CFO, and CNO. She also served as the Events Director to the hospital’s foundation. Before joining Orthopedic ONE, Karly served as Director of Communications and Physician Relations at OrthoNeuro, and then Marketing Development Manager at AmerisourceBergen.
In her current role, Karly is responsible for all marketing activity on behalf of the practice, and overseeing the marketing department and all its resources.
Karly is a proud resident of Westerville. She and her husband enjoy skiing in the winter, biking and being on the water in summer months, and spending time with friends and family in between.
Physician Relations Manager – Phillip Schultz
Phillip Schultz joined Orthopedic ONE in 2014 as Physician Relations Manager, responsible for maintaining and developing physician referral relationships within the region.
Before joining Orthopedic ONE, Schultz was Admissions and Marketing Director at HCR Manorcare’s Heartland of Centerburg. He has nearly five years of healthcare experience, including prior work with Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence’s foundation and community outreach. In addition to his healthcare experience, Schultz is founder of Phillip Schultz Art and Design, where he exercises his creative and artistic talents on behalf of clients.
A graduate of Capital University, Schultz and his wife reside in Delaware. He enjoys spending time with family, doing missions work, exercising, watching sports, playing golf and working on his art.
Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator – Laura Fagert
Laura Fagert joined the practice in August, 2015 as the Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator, responsible for working with our community and sports partners and offering general marketing support.
Laura is a graduate of Baldwin- Wallace University, and moved to Columbus upon obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations in 2009. Prior to joining Orthopedic ONE, Laura worked in Customer Relations at BMW Financial Services and as a Community Manager with the American Cancer Society, serving various communities throughout the Central Ohio area.
Laura currently resides in the Polaris area. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Buckeyes and the Cleveland Cavaliers!
