Orthopedic ONE announces 5th Annual Spirit Sprint 5k Run/Walk to be held May 4, 2014

5^th Annual Spirit Sprint 5k Run/Walk

The Spirit Sprint 5k Run/Walk is now in its fifth year! To date, this event has raised more than $41,000 in support of athletic and extracurricular programming at participating schools. Last year, the Groveport Madison Cruisers walked away with $10,000 in support of their athletic program. The Gahanna-Lincoln Lions earned $5,000, which they used to offset participation fees for both the girls’ and boys’ cross country teams.

Come show off your school pride, and encourage everyone in your community to join you!Why? Earnings are based on each school’s total number of registered participants. Every school walks away with 80% of their registration proceeds, so the more people who sign up in support of your school – the MORE money you raise! And to keep things interesting…the school with the greatest number of registered participants leaves with bragging rights, a trophy and the BIGGEST check of all!

$25 PRE-REGISTRATION (available through May 1 at MIDNIGHT) *Includes race shirt and goody bag

$20 ORTHOPEDIC ONE VIP DISCOUNT (available through May 1 at MIDNIGHT) – This is a discounted registration available to Orthopedic ONE patients and employees ONLY. Email srauschenbach@orthopedicONE.com for coupon code. Discount NOT available to race-day registrants. VIP participants will receive an Orthopedic ONE VIP race shirt and goody bag.

$30 RACE DAY REGISTRATION- CASH ONLY (beginning May 4 at 8am on-site) *Race shirts and goody bag available on first-come, first-serve basis

Awards:
A trophy (and bragging rights!) will be awarded to the school district with the greatest number of registered participants.
Medals and prizes will be given to the top five overall ‘Male,’ ‘Female’ and ‘Under 18’ participants.
And of course, checks presented to all of our participating schools in support of their athletic programs!
